We suggest a slight extension on either side from the window edges. This helps create an illusion of an enlarged area, and draws in more natural light when the curtains are fully opened. In terms of the curtain height, remember to take into account the 1" that our standard track occupies. For an elegant look that stops just above the floor (a popular choice), measure the distance from the ceiling to the floor and then deduct 1.5" (1" for the track and 0.5" to ensure a neat floor clearance). For a stylish puddling effect, simply add between 2” to 6” to the measurement from the ceiling/wall bracket to the floor.
